Advantages: Excellent waterproof and moisture-proof performance, high transparency (convenient for observing the condition of the floor), low price, light weight, and easy to lay.

Disadvantages: The surface is very smooth, which can easily cause people to slip; the biggest risk is that it may leave adhesive residues (for the adhesive version, the adhesive will migrate to the floor surface after long-term laying or under high temperature, which is extremely difficult to remove); poor wear resistance, easily scratched by gravel on the sole; impermeable, long-term coverage may prevent moisture under the floor from dissipating (especially in underfloor heating environments).

Applicable scenarios: It is highly not recommended for long-term covering protection of laminate flooring! It can only be used for extremely short-term occasions that require high water resistance (such as temporarily preventing water drops during decoration), and must choose the non-adhesive or ultra-low viscosity version that clearly indicates no residual adhesive. The laying time should be as short as possible, and the floor should be thoroughly cleaned immediately after removal.

Advantages: High transparency, good wear resistance, waterproof and stain-resistant, easy to clean, and can clearly show the floor texture. It is available in both rolls and interlocking blocks.

Disadvantages: Long-term coverage may affect the breathability of the floor (special attention should be paid to underfloor heating); edges may curl; poor-quality PVC may turn yellow and brittle or adhere to the floor; the surface may have textures that affect the floor's gloss.

Applicable scenarios: Suitable for long-term protection of high-frequency walking areas (such as doorways, corridors, under office desks) or areas under furniture. When choosing, attention should be paid to its bottom design (it should be non-adhesive or have anti-slip dots to avoid adhesion) and the environmental friendliness of the material.
