Plastic Films For Home Appliances

Transportation Protection: Prevent the surfaces of home appliances from being scratched, collided or polluted during the transportation process.

Scratch Prevention: Avoid scratches on the shells of home appliances caused by sharp objects during the production, handling and installation processes, which may affect the appearance.

PE (Polyethylene): It has good flexibility, low-temperature resistance and chemical stability. It is non-toxic, odorless and has a relatively low cost, making it a commonly used material.

PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride): It has relatively high mechanical strength and good transparency. However, it may release harmful substances such as plasticizers under high temperature or long-term use conditions, so attention should be paid when using it.

PP (Polypropylene): It has a relatively high melting point and good comprehensive properties, including strength, hardness, heat resistance and chemical corrosion resistance.

Refrigerator: The plastic films on the back and the radiator positions on the sides of the refrigerator must be removed. Otherwise, it will affect heat dissipation, increase power consumption and even shorten the service life of the refrigerator.

Microwave Oven: High temperature during heating may cause the film to blister, age and even release harmful substances, which will affect heat dissipation and usage safety. So it should be removed in time.

Washing Machine: When placed in a humid environment, the film is prone to wrinkling and warping. Once water seeps in, bacteria will breed and cause the shell to rust and corrode. So it should be removed.

Television: The film on the screen will affect light transmittance and display effect, and the film on the frame will affect heat dissipation. Both should be removed.

Adhesiveness: The adhesiveness should be moderate. It can firmly adhere to the surface of home appliances to play a protective role, and can also be easily removed without leaving adhesive residue when needed.

Thickness: Select an appropriate thickness according to the type of home appliances and the usage environment. For example, thicker films can be chosen for large home appliances or parts that are prone to collision to increase the protection strength.

Size: Accurately measure the size of the parts of home appliances that need protection before purchasing, and choose films of appropriate size to ensure that the protection areas are completely covered.
