1. Waterproof and Weather Resistance

The PE protective film can effectively prevent water penetration, resist ultraviolet rays, oxidation and extreme temperatures (-60°C to 60°C), and is suitable for long-term outdoor environments. For example, the patented anti-slip PE film for roofs enhances friction through the airbag structure and anti-slip patterns, while maintaining its waterproof performance.

2. Corrosion Resistance and Wear Resistance

It has excellent resistance to chemical substances such as acids, alkalis and salts, and is especially suitable for marine climates or industrial pollution areas. Its surface physical wear resistance can reduce scratches during transportation and construction.

It can be flexibly cut according to the shape of the roof and can fit complex curved surfaces (such as around skylights and pipes). It also has a wide range of thicknesses to meet different protection needs.

4. Construction Convenience

No special tools are required during installation. After peeling off the separable film, it can be directly fixed through the adhesive layer, and there is no residual adhesive when it is removed. It is used to prevent surface scratching or contamination during the transportation and storage of roof panels. Attention should be paid to the storage temperature (15-27°C) and humidity (40-60%) to avoid the aging and adhesion of the protective film.

Ensure that the roof surface is clean and dry, free of oil stains or sharp objects, and avoid piercing the film. The concrete base needs to be ground to be flat, and the steel structure needs to be derusted and the edges of the PE film need to be fixed.

2. Environmental Conditions

The humidity should be moderate. If it rains, the work should be continued only after it is completely dry.

3. Overlapping and Sealing

The horizontal overlapping width should be ≥ 12cm, and the vertical overlapping should be in the wind direction. The joints should be sealed with neutral silicone sealant. Special nodes (such as parapet walls) should be reinforced with U-shaped galvanized steel strips.

4. Special Tools and Safety

Use special cutting tools (such as a utility knife) to avoid burrs, and wear a dust mask and gloves to prevent fiber irritation. When working at heights, the edges of the protective film need to be fixed to prevent it from being lifted by the wind.
