Stretch Film Pallet

Stretchability: This is its most important characteristic. The film can be stretched to 100%-300% of its original length (depending on type and quality) to wrap goods in a stretched state.

Elastic Memory/Retraction Force: After stretching, the film has a strong tendency to retract, tightly wrapping around the goods and generating continuous binding force.

Self-adhesiveness: The layers of the film have viscosity (achieved by adding tackifiers), enabling the wrapped layers to adhere firmly together without the need for tape or heat sealing.

Toughness: It has good puncture and tear resistance (despite being thin), capable of withstanding friction and impact during transportation.

Transparency: It is usually highly transparent, facilitating the identification of the wrapped goods and labels.

Dust-proof, Moisture-proof, and Anti-loosening: It effectively protects goods from dust, moisture, and scattering.

Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE): This is the most mainstream and commonly used material, providing excellent stretchability, toughness, and cost-effectiveness.

Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC): Once popular but now less used, mainly due to its poor environmental performance (containing chlorine, difficult to recycle) and inferior stretching properties compared to LLDPE.

Pre-stretched Film: Usually made of LLDPE as well, but it undergoes pre-stretching treatment during production, requiring less stretching force when used, being more labor-saving, and covering a larger area per unit weight.

Special Films: There are also films with added UV stabilizers (for long-term outdoor storage), antistatic films (for electronic components), colored films (for differentiation or light shading), super-tough films (for heavy-duty or sharp goods), etc.

Logistics and Transportation: Standard packaging for palletized goods during sea, land, and air transportation.

Warehousing: Fixing stacked goods in warehouses and providing long-term storage protection.

Manufacturing: Packaging of finished products for delivery and protection of components.

Food and Beverage: Pallet packaging of beverage and food cartons (needs to meet food contact safety requirements).

Paper Making and Printing: Protection of paper, paper rolls, and printed materials.

Building Materials and Chemical Industry: Fixing of tiles, pipes, and chemical raw materials.

Agriculture: Wrapping of forage bales and agricultural products (sometimes using special forage film).

Home/Retail: Wrapping large items like furniture and home appliances for dust and scratch prevention (often using hand-held films).
