Aluminum Plate PE Printing Protective Film

Base material: Polyethylene (PE) plastic film is usually used. PE film is widely applied due to its low cost, good flexibility, easy processability, non-toxicity and environmental friendliness.

Adhesive: It is coated on one side of the PE film. The type and viscosity of the adhesive are crucial, which need to ensure:

Sufficient adhesion: It can firmly adhere to the surface of the aluminum plate and is not easy to fall off during processing and transportation.

Easy peelability: Before the final installation or use, it can be peeled off relatively easily and cleanly, without leaving residual adhesive or damaging the printed layer/coating on the surface of the aluminum plate. This is one of the core requirements for the protective film.

Stability: The viscosity remains stable within a certain period (such as during the warranty period), and it is not easy to age and become brittle or over-adhere.

Physical protection: Prevent the surface of the aluminum plate from being scratched, scraped or collided by hard objects during handling, cutting, stamping, bending, stacking, transportation, etc.

Pollution protection: Block dust, oil stains, fingerprints, chemicals and other pollutants from the surface of the aluminum plate, especially the printed patterns.

Printed pattern protection: For aluminum plates with printed patterns, logos or color coatings on the surface, the protective film is a key barrier to prevent the patterns from being worn, faded or damaged.

Anti-oxidation/corrosion: To a certain extent, it isolates air and moisture, and slows down the oxidation or corrosion of the aluminum plate surface (especially the cutting edge) (although aluminum itself has good corrosion resistance, specific environments or coatings still need protection).

Improving aesthetics: Keep the surface of the aluminum plate in a new and clean state before reaching the end user.

Printed aluminum plates: Such as aluminum plates with printed patterns used for household appliance panels (refrigerators, washing machines), electronic product casings, advertising signs, decorative aluminum plates, furniture panels, etc.

Coated aluminum plates: Colored aluminum plates with coatings like PVDF fluorocarbon spraying, powder coating, and anodizing, which require protection to prevent the coating from being scratched.

Mirror/brush-finished aluminum plates: The high-gloss surfaces are extremely prone to scratches and must be covered with protective films.

Transportation and storage of aluminum coils/sheets: To protect the coils or sheets from damage during long-distance transportation and warehouse stacking.
