The Packing Tape For Fragile Items

Beyond basic box sealing, the following types of functional adhesive tapes provide extra protection:

1. Warning Tapes

Function: Bright colors and texts (such as "Fragile Items", "Handle with Care", "This Side Up") serve as strong reminders for couriers and porters to handle the package with special care.

Types:

Printed Tapes: Warning slogans are directly printed on the tape.

Colored Tapes: Made with bright colors like red, yellow, or the black-and-yellow "warning tape" pattern, they are highly visible even without text.

Usage: After sealing the box, stick multiple strips of warning tape on all sides of the box, especially the top and sides.

2. Fiber Tapes

Feature: Embedded with crisscross woven glass fiber filaments-like "steel bars" inside the tape-they boast extremely high tensile strength. Once applied, they are nearly impossible to tear by hand and must be cut with a knife.

Advantage: Offer unparalleled box reinforcement, effectively preventing the box from cracking or bursting under heavy pressure or impact.

Usage: Used for the final reinforcement when sealing the box, especially in a "well" or "rice" pattern around the box's seams and edges.

3. Cloth-backed Tapes

Feature: With a fabric base, they have strong adhesion and good flexibility, allowing them to stick to uneven surfaces.

Advantage: High strength and tearable by hand, making them easy to use. They are often used to reinforce the corners and key parts of cartons.

Usage: Similar to fiber tapes, they are used for reinforcing key parts of the box.
